Traveller’s Tale is counting on the Narnia movie to reel in more kids and gamers for its newly released action-adventure video game designed for Sony’s PlayStation 3 - The Chronicle of Narnia: Prince Caspian. Inspired by Walt Disney and Walden Media film of the epic Narnia series, Prince Caspian finds Lucy, Edmund, Susan and Peter whisked back to Narnia to help drive out the cruel King Miraz. The video game release coincides with the theatrical release of the motion picture this May.
The video game, The Chronicles of Narnia: Caspian Prince was announced at EA 2007, is an action-adventure game where you enter the rich, fantastic world of Narnia once again in the sequel to the smash hit “The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.” The second installment of the Narnia franchise have the residents of Narnia live in an enchanted land of hope populated with talking bears, dwarfs, and fauns. The game has the Pevensie children traveling back to Narnia, which is now ruled by another evil tyrant and gives the players the freedom to explore deep universe even further while controlling various characters including all the Pevensie children, Giants and Caspian himself. The game allows players to assume the role of 20 different playable characters from the film, including non-human Narnians, with different strengths and abilities and non-linear missions. In addition, the game supports two-player, drop-in/ drop-out cooperative gameplay and includes a level that is unique from both the novel and the movie. With real time battles, the game goes beyond the film with a special cut scene starring Prince Caspian himself and also has an exclusive level not seen in the film.
